::Q&A::

1. How would you describe your sound in a few words?
Some pretty basic 3 chord songs layered with enough noise, fuzz and feedback to create a sense of confusion or depth to something relatively simple in order to convey how confusing even simple things can get. Murky pop.

2. Name 3 bands without whom you wouldn't exist.
Spacemen 3, My Bloody Valentine and The Velvet Underground.

3. If you had the chance to work with any film director, who would that be?
William Klein, Jean-Luc Godard, or Fellini. I love the confusion in their films without them resorting to disturbing imagery to shock the audience. Maybe Vincent Gallo if I had to pick someone more contemporary.

4. Tell us a bit about the making of this songs.
These songs are just demos we wanted to put out before our E.P. being released in either July or August. They are recorded in our living room with our dogs walking around, the airconditioner running, sirens or trains going on in the background. I didn't even intend to release them at first. I just wanted to capture some stuff that I was feeling and some awful stuff we were dealing with in our house at the time. You can hear all sorts of accidental sounds in the background if you listen with headphones and I really liked that, I wanted to document this moment in my life. It's very transitional.

5. Do you still buy CDs/vinyl/ tape?
Vinyl sometimes to support some local music or if it's something I really want to be intimate with. It gets so easy to put cds and ipods and all that kind of stuff on in the background. I've been given some tapes lately but I actually haven't bought one in 15 years probably.

The Band In Heaven will be opening this friday for The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart and Surfer Blood in Orlando @ Club Firestone

This new section is perfect because it gives new opportunities to the new bands, that's perfect because my friends and I were thinking on creating our own band.m10m
